| TSUBA T-13 SUAKA "ARITSUNE" Mei: Aritsune with Kao 3.56" (9.04cm) x 3.25" (8.25) x 0.0625" (0.158cm) This is a magnificent Tsuba I am listing which was property of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is a very large and gorgeous tsuba done in suaka or pure copper. The plate is done in an ishime finish with sukinokoshi mimi. The motif is of Matsu or pine which is done in katte kire bori and highlighted with gold pine cones and a silver moon in hira zogan. The reverse is a continuation of the same motif featuring a a single pine limb. An exquisite, genuine Museum piece. $12,000 USD
