This f/k appears to have been mounted on a yoroi -doshi (note enlarged nakago ana).

Shishiai-bori and takabori in iroe are skillfully incorporated to depict three figures and a bridge.

The figures are Minamoto Benkei & Yoshitsune as they cross a bridge on their flight from Yoritomo. Yoritome was Yoshitsune’s brother turned antagonist, which could be the figure on the kashira.

The workmanship is reminiscent of Hamano in style.
