TSUBA: MINO GRASSES / INSECTS

Obvious Mino work tsuba depicting a floral/insect motif.  The base metal appears to be iron, yet under the mimi looks like copper (?). The motif has been washed/plated in gold and it bears a shakudo rim.

Much nicer than the run of the mill Mino tsuba typically encountered.
