KOGAI JITA 

Jita are the finished plates ready for mounting onto either kozuka or kogai.   This is a kogai jita(plate) made from shakudo nanako and embellished with a trio of takabori crane(tsuru) mons. The two outer mon are lighter gold than the mon in the center. The condition is excellent as is the quality.  Uncertain of the age, but definitely not modern. The size: 7/16″(1.11cm) x 2 1∕2″(6.35cm).
