FUTATOKORIMONO: Menuki and Kozuka

THEME: Travelers items.

Shakudo menuki and matching kozuka depicting peasant’s grass raincoat,sedge (hat), rope braids, and Daikoku’s mallet. Nice detail, accented with gold overlay on the ropes & mallet, of which is further engraved with a tama (jewel of knowledge) is on the body of the mallet also.

Menuki are 1/2″(1.3cm) x 1 7/8″ ( 4.8cm) suitable for wakizashi or katana.

Kozuka is 9/16″(4.3cm) x 3 13/16″(9.68cm). Overall condition is good, with obvious losses of utori around the rim.

A decent mountable set.

The menuki / kozuka can be sold separately.
