YANAGAWA NAOTSUGU

Naotsugu was a student of Naomasa.

The Yanagawa schools, Shodai Naomasa, student of both Soyo and Somin, is regarded as the founder of the Yanagawa school. The Yanagawa school is very famous.

This a lovely set of menuki done in shibuichi with gold highlights. The menuki are signed on plates within the cavity inside the menuki. The plates read: Yanagawa · Naotsugu.

I guarantee these menuki will pass shinsa if submitted to the NBTHK within one (1) year of purchase date.

Note: I have a beautiful elephant tsuba by which would go great with these menuki. Tsuba $300. ($850 for the set).
