KOSHIRAE

As the measurements indicate this a fat, beefy Hira-zukuri Tanto in Koshirae. The nakago is kiri or straight but is ubu.  Yasurime are kiri as well and the nakago has only one ana. The hamon is a rolling midare and the boshi has a nice long turnback. The hada is itame with lots of chikei.

There are a few small tarnished spots and some light hakikake or surface scratches.

The koshirae features soroimono or matching tosogu done in a textured suaka copper.  Menuki are gold foiled and depict kabuto and riding crop and ar fastened to the tsuka using katate-maki style of wrapping.

There are no kozuka or kogai included.  Also, there is only one seppa mounted on the koshirae, but it is tight fit.
